Sarasota County E-Textbook Guide
Sarasota County Schools offers students the ability to access digital versions of their textbooks. At this time, we offer access to textbooks through our learning management system (Angel) where students can login to view their textbooks. Students can also access some textbooks using mobile devices such as iPods, iPads, smartphones, slates, laptops, etc using an innovative new technology, "Mobl21".
Accessing Textbooks via Angel
Textbooks are acessible via Angel by logging in at http://angel.sarasota.k12.fl.us. Students can login and access the "Student Textbook Library" listed on their homepage under Community Groups. Students will see digital textbooks for classes in which they are now enrolled. Click here to view a short video on accessing your textbooks through Angel.
Accessing Textbooks via Mobl21
For the 2011-2012 school year 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be able to participate in a pilot program that allows them to access their math and science textbooks on mobile devices. Mobl21 technology gives students the ability to download their math and science textbooks via an app. Download the app, download the chapters you want, access your book from anywhere.
